What Your Session Could Include:

  • Targeted coaching: Bring 3–5 specific questions or challenges; we’ll prioritize the most impactful.

  • Image feedback: Screen‑share recent work for detailed critique and improvement steps.

  • Mini game‑plan: You’ll leave with a short, written checklist of next actions to practice.

  • Resource pointers: Suggested exercises, tools, and references tailored to your level.

Format: 1:1 Zoom session (45 minutes). After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link and prep checklist.

What We Can Cover (Pick Your Focus)

  • Lighting: Natural light, constant light, speedlights, and strobes; ratios and direction; setups for singles/couples/families.

  • Posing & Expression: Head‑to‑toe flow, hands, posture, body language, micro‑adjustments, storytelling.

  • Composition & Lens Choice: Background control, perspective, compression, and framing.

  • Client Experience 

How It Works

  1. Once payment has been made, you will receive an email with a link to upload 3-5 areas of focus. The email will also contain scheduling information.

  2. You'll receive a choice of available times to schedule your mentoring session with Hanson.

  3. Start your live coaching with Hanson, a recording of the session, plus a prioritized action list to implement right away.

What to Prepare

  • Your top 3 goals for the session.

  • Notes on typical shoot conditions (space size, ceilings/walls, gear list).

  • Any recurring problems you want solved (e.g., flat light, awkward hands, uneven groups).

Scheduling & Logistics

  • Duration: 45 minutes

  • Location: Zoom (link provided upon payment)

  • Time zones: Based on PST (California)

  • Tech check: Test audio/video and screen‑share before the start time
